«الأبواب المقفلة» هي مسرحية كتبها رائد الوجودية الفرنسية جان بول سارتر في 1944م. تبدأ المسرحية بثلاث شخصيات تجد نفسها تنتظر في غرفة غامضة. إنه تصور للحياة الأخرى التي يعاقب فيها ثلاث شخصيات من خلال حبسهم في غرفة معًا إلى الأبد، يدركون أنهم يفترض أن يعذبوا بعضهم، ويفعلوا ذلك بطريقة مؤثرة، عن طريق التحقيق في ذنوب كل واحد منهم ورغباته وذكرياته المؤلمة. مع مرور الزمن فإنهم يصبحون أكثر انعزالًا عن الأرض وعن الناس فيها، لذا يصبحون يفكرون في أنفسهم فقط. تلك المسرحية هي مصدر مقولة سارتر الشهيرة: «الجحيم هو الآخرون».

المسابقة مفتوحة لكلِّ الأعمار بدءًا من 16 عامًا.

ماذا أكتب؟ 

اكتب مقالًا عن أي جانب من جوانب العمل كان له تأثير فيك كقارئ (شخصيات المسرحية - الحبكة - تحليل نقدي - موضوعات تتطرق لها المسرحية - مقارنات - الرموز التي يمكن أن تشير إليها المسرحية... إلخ).

من حق كلِّ متسابق أن يشارك بمقال واحد لا أكثر.

كيف أكتب؟

اكتب ما لا يقل عن 4 صفحات وما لا يزيد على 8 صفحات؛ مستخدمًا خط Simplified Arabic، مقاس 14 نقطة (للنصوص العربية)، أو خط

Times New Roman، مقاس 12 نقطة (للنصوص الإنجليزية والفرنسية)؛ مع ترك مسافة مزدوجة بين السطور، وضبط جميع الهوامش؛ بحيث يكون عرضها 5,2سم، ووضع أرقام الصفحات في الهامش العلوي؛ (لن يُلتفت بتاتًا إلى الأعمال المخالفة للضوابط السابقة).

اكتب المقال بأسلوبك الخاص، فإذا كنت ستستعين ببعض المراجع، فاحرص على ذكرها في شكل هوامش في نهاية المقال؛ مبينًا عنوان كلِّ مرجع ومؤلفه والناشر وتاريخ النشر وأرقام الصفحات؛ وذلك تفاديًا لاستبعاد مقالك للاشتباه في السرقة العلمية.

   في حالة عدم توافر الشروط يحق للجنة التحكيم رفض العمل المقدم.

كيف أُسَلِّم المقال؟

يُرجى ملء استمارة الاشتراك على الرابط التالي https://forms.gle/1zxEF2jUDwxtVS9y9، ثم إرسال نسخة إلكترونية من المقال (ملف وُرد) إلى mainlibrary.contests@bibalex.org، من خلال بريدكم الإلكتروني الشخصي (على أن يكون البريد الإلكتروني نفسه الذي قمتم بتسجيله في استمارة الاشتراك).

آخر موعد لإرسال المقال هو الأحد الموافق 18 أغسطس 2019.

ماذا عن الجوائز؟

بالنسبة إلى المشاركين باللغة العربية، فسوف تخصص ثلاث جوائز للمراكز الثلاثة الأولى، كما ستحصل المراكز العشرة الأولى على شهادات تقدير،
أما بالنسبة إلى المشاركين باللغة الإنجليزية والفرنسية، فسوف تخصص جائزة واحدة للمركز الأول بكل مسابقة، كما ستحصل المراكز الخمسة الأولى على شهادات تقدير، وفي حالة فوز أي مشارك من خارج مصر، فسيحصل على شهادة تقدير تُرسل إليه عن طريق البريد.

وسيتم الإعلان عن النتيجة في الحفل الختامي لبرنامج «القراءة الكبرى بمكتبة الإسكندرية» يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 17 سبتمبر 2019، كما سيتم نشر جميع المقالات المقبولة في المسابقة من خلال المدونة الإلكترونية الخاصة بالمسابقة، على الرابط التالي: https://essaycontest-bigread2019.blogspot.com/.

      No Exit is an existentialist French play by Jean-Paul Sartre written in 1944. The play begins with three characters who find themselves waiting in a mysterious room. It is a depiction of the afterlife in which three characters are punished by being locked into a room together for eternity. Realizing that they are supposed to torture each other, they do so in an effective way by investigating each other’s sins, wishes and painful memories. As time passes, they become more isolated from earth and its people, and they only think of themselves. It is the source of Sartre's infamous quotation “L'enfer, c'est les autres” or “Hell is other people”.

Who can participate?

Everyone from age 16 years and above.

What should I write?

Write an essay on any aspect of the literary work that captured your attention (characters, plot, themes, critical analysis, symbolism, narratology, etc.). You can write your essay in Arabic, English, or French. Each participant can only submit one essay.

How should I write?

Do not write not less than four pages (A4-size), and not more than eight pages, using the 12 pt Times New Roman font (for English and French essays) or the 14 pt Simplified Arabic font (for Arabic essays), with double-spaced lines. Set the margins of your document at 2.5 cm on all sides. Create a header that numbers all pages consecutively.

You should write in your own words. If you use any references, you have to mention them as an endnote (including title, author, publisher, publication date, and page number). This is to avoid any hint of plagiarism, which can exclude your essay from the contest. 

The Contest Committee has the right to refuse any work that does not follow the above-mentioned terms.

What can I win?

For participants contributing in English and French, there will be one prize for the first winner and certificates for the first five winners. For those participating in Arabic, there will be prizes for the first three winners, in addition to certificates for the first ten winners. Winners from abroad will receive a certificate by mail.

The winners will be announced at the closing ceremony of the Big Read at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina which will take place on Tuesday, 17 September 2019. All eligible works will be published on the blog of the contest:

       Huis clos est une pièce de théâtre écrite en 1944 par Jean-Paul Sartre, le père de l’existentialisme français. La pièce s’ouvre sur trois personnages attendant dans une salle mystérieuse. Il s’agit d’une représentation de la vie posthume dans laquelle trois personnages sont condamnés à être enfermés ensemble dans une chambre pour toujours, et à se torturer les uns les autres de façon touchante en évoquant les péchés, les désirs et les mauvais souvenirs de chacun. Avec le temps, ces trois personnages s’isolent davantage de la terre et ses gens, de sorte qu’ils ne pensent plus qu’à eux-mêmes. Cette pièce de théâtre était à l’origine de la fameuse citation de Sartre « L’enfer c’est les autres ».

Qui peut participer?

Le concours est ouvert aux participants ayant au moins 16 ans.

Qu’est-ce qu’il faut écrire?

Ecrire un essai sur n’importe quel élément de l’œuvre ayant attiré votre attention en tant que lecteur (personnages, intrigue, analyse critique, thèmes, comparaisons et symboles, etc.). 

Chaque candidat pourrait soumettre un seul essai.

Comment rédiger et réussir l’essai?

L’essai fera un minimum de quatre pages et un maximum de huit pages. Il doit être écrit en police Times New Roman 12 (pour les textes anglais et français) et Simplified Arabic 14 (pour les textes arabes), avec double interligne et marge de 2,5 cm. Veuillez numéroter les pages dans l’en-tête. (Les travaux qui ne respectent pas ces critères ne seront pas pris en considération.)

L’essai doit être une création personnelle. Si vous consultez certaines références, vous devrez les citer dans les notes de fin de page, tout en mentionnant le titre, l’auteur, l’éditeur, la date de publication et le numéro de page ; et ce pour éviter toute sorte de plagiat menaçant d’exclure votre essai.  

En cas de non-respect des conditions susmentionnées, le jury du concours détient le droit de rejeter les travaux présentés.

Comment déposer l’essai?

Chaque candidat est prié de remplir le formulaire d’inscription en ligne https://forms.gle/1zxEF2jUDwxtVS9y9, et d’envoyer ensuite l’essai (en document Word) par courriel à mainlibrary.contests@bibalex.org.

Veuillez utiliser le même courriel indiqué dans le formulaire pour envoyer l’essai.

Quand déposer l’essai?

La date limite est fixée au dimanche 18 août 2019.

A propos des prix

Pour les auteurs des essais en arabe, des prix seront décernés aux trois premiers gagnants, ainsi que des certificats aux dix premiers. Alors que pour les auteurs des essais en anglais et en français, le premier lauréat sera attribué un prix, et les cinq premiers gagnants recevront des certificats.

Si un candidat non-égyptien gagne, il recevra un certificat par courriel.

Les lauréats seront annoncés lors de la cérémonie de clôture de la « Grande Lecture » à la BA, le 17 septembre 2019.
